Stolen Heart steals the show at Del Mar
Rabbah Bloodstock’s Stolen Heart showed she has plenty of heart in her debut at Del Mar on Saturday in a six-furlong Maiden Special Weight for fillies three and up with jockey Rafael Bejarano in the irons. The three-year-old chestnut was sent off at 16 to 1 against seasoned runners in her first start. She broke well, but settled near the back of the field of six. She came five wide into the stretch and steadily gained on the lead to get up by a neck at the wire.
"She was very gusty and determined today," said trainer Eoin Harty. "She’ll be a nice filly."
The Ecton Park daughter was bred in Kentucky by Charles Fipke and is out of the Rahy mare Rahfee.
